Ed Banger Records is happy to announce the release of BREAKBOT feat Irfane “Baby I’m Yours” video!  It was (directed) handmade by IRINA DAKEVA @ WIZZ It is composed of approx 2000 images watercolor painted one after another (we   say Aquarelle in french, way more sexy).

In the meantime, Ed Banger Records put out a new 10″ including the original and an exclusive remix by Aeroplane.

Produced by Kkristen and Vincent Moreau,  Firefly is an interactive lighting that reacts to human behavior like a cloud of glowing insects.
These ones change their appearance in human presence : they wriggle, light up and scatter in response to the motion of visitors around. The cloud alternately disperses and merges… and its shape evolves to take a different appearance, again and again.
Firefly is an invitation to play, in search of a sensitive interaction between man and his environment.

Firefly is currently presented for the first time at Shanghai World Expo 2010, as a part of lighting design of the Urban Best Practices Area.

Introducing to you Dan Edelstyn’s epic new documentary series How to Re-Establish a Vodka Empire. A chance discovery of his grandmother’s diaries leads Dan to discover that he is heir to a vodka factory. Can he revive the family brand by importing the drink into the UK? And how will a novice cope in the cut-throat world of big business? Only time will tell…

The story behind the Vodka Empire:

Since finding his Grandmother Maroussia Zorokovich’s vivid account of life in and escape from Russia during the 1917 Revolution Dan has been obsessed by her riches to rags story of romance and exile. 2007 saw Optimistic Productions working on green screen sequences bringing the account to life in dramatic form within the development of the drama documentary ëFrom Bolshevism to Belfast’.

In February 2008, using her lively and colourful manuscript as a guide Dan went on a quest to the Ukraine. He discovered that within what some had dismissed as romantic fiction were the clues that led him not only to her estate but to the factory that her father had established in 1904 ‚ a spirits factory that was expropriated during the revolution but which is still open for business almost 100 years later.

With this twist in the story comes a new film as Dan embarks on importing the spirit of his ancestors into the UK and, following in their entrepreneurial footsteps, launching his own Vodka Empire with Zorokovich 1917.

How To Re-Establish a Vodka Empire is currently moving into the final stages of production as Dan attempts to import, brand and then distribute the vodka from his great-grandparents’ factory.

How to Re-Establish a Vodka Empire is destined to become a full-length feature film scheduled for broadcast in the UK on More4 in 2011.

I found this very nice video by PlusOne to promote this new book called ‘The Metamorphosis of Osdorp’ .

The city district Amsterdam Osdorp recently merged with Slotervaart and Geuzenveld-Slotermeer and was given the name Amsterdam Nieuw-West. This change also meant the end of 20 years of restructuring urbanized areas. To celebrate everything achieved, a book was published. ‘The Metamorphosis of Osdorp’ gives an overview of the architectural highlights. PlusOne was asked to create an intriguing video.
