Marrakech Travel Photo Report Day 3

Monday, August 31st, 2009

4 Th of august, we went to Agadir to visit my family.  Luckily we had airconditioning in the car.

Agadir-Marrakech was a normal 3 hour trip  by car.  The way back was a crazy dangerous adventure, by night, a lots of traffic and dark mountains.  I tell you, A verrrrry scary moment.  After 5 hours We finally arrived at Marrakech.  Like every big city the creeps comes out in the heat of the night.  First we almost got ripped by a taxi driver.  Than we accepted a bag from someone who asked us to give it to someone else down the street.  Guess what? We returned the bag to the wrong person.  Strange situation, I m still asking myself why we accepted a bag from someone we don’t know at 5 in the morning? We were tired, damn I was so happy we found our way back to the Riad.

For now, Enjoy! and I m coming back tomorrow with some cultural moments.

Flashing a Grand Master? Pt II

Saturday, August 1st, 2009

And Yesssss, No Balls, No Glory, time for Another Polaroid story by our friend Ouni.

We love it!!!

Remember the ‘Fuck The Slice, I Want The Pie‘ story?
If you don’t, I highly recommend you catch up on that one. It shines a light on my quest in a very ‘no pain, no gain’ kinda way.
But, you know what they say: ‘By perseverance the snail reached the ark.’
Grand Master Flash was booked for the Les Ardentes festival. He was a headliner, playing from midnight till 02h30 in the morning.
Now, after GMF did his gig a couple of months ago in Depot, Leuven he wasn’t really spared from criticism.
It is a fact that he didn’t come back on stage, to greet the audience. It is a fact that he didn’t do a bis-song.
