“Mark Hansen and Ben Rubin’s Listening Post is an art installation that culls text fragments in real time from thousands of unrestricted Internet chat rooms, bulletin boards and other public forums. The texts are read (or sung) by a voice synthesizer, and simultaneously displayed across a suspended grid of more than two hundred small electronic screens.
Listening Post cycles through a series of six movements, each a different arrangement of visual, aural, and musical elements, each with it’s own data processing logic.
Dissociating the communication from its conventional on-screen presence, Listening Post is a visual and sonic response to the content, magnitude, and immediacy of virtual communication.”

‘We are watching you…’

Bue The Warrior‘s exhibition at Montana gallery in Brussels,

From May 23rd – July 4th.

The opening was chill.  Bue’s pieces are very nice.  Soo go and visit his expo!

And yes! We loooove his work!

Milk Cheeks by Viet-My Bui (Ravenskar). 

“Viet-My (“Viet-Mee”) is a tiny (5 foot), 21 year old Vietnamese girl who looks like a prepubescent boy, and adores eating, and all things related to food. She is constantly hungry and grows excited thinking about what she’ll eat the next day.
She is often found having lunch, but has stayed the same weight for the past six years. She understands this is probably a good thing, but fears that her body is a cholesterol time-bomb and that in twenty years’ time, she’ll inflate in her sleep and drown in 40 years’ worth of fatty deposits.
Viet-My also finds herself drawing, sleeping, talking and laughing all the time – sometimes all at once (with a bit of difficulty). She takes pleasure in making a lame pun or cracking the unappreciated joke. She likes to use her (amazing!) humour to swim out of awkward situations.
She is currently studying Commerce/Law at the University of Melbourne, and has realised she hates it. Her dream is to pursue Art & Design once she graduates. One day, one day.
She’s had braces for about eight months, and gets to take them off at the end of 2009.
She once fell down the stairs as a baby.”

Girl Next Door came up with the excellent idea of making a compilation of -mainly 80’s- chick flick songs. Turned out a cool selection of rock ‘n roll and electro pop soundtrack music. One for the ladies!!!

Matt is a leo, he enjoys long walks in the park, bubble baths, and an occasional glass of wine. He currently lives in San Francisco. His comic series “Boy’s Club” is published by Buenaventura Press.

So Nathan and Dustin were talking to one another…They both happened to be small time motorcycle enthusiasts, and the came up with the idea to do a motorcycle trip somewhere in Australia. After very little thought and even less planning , the grabbed a bearded third accomplice by name of Salsa, called in some favours from Deus, and set out from Sydney on three 650 whips with no plan but to find good waves and hang with good people.
